What's Happening on Immigration?
February 9, 2022
On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, we invited partner organizations to a live event on Facebook. They updated us on DACA, immigration policy, and local organizing efforts in Lake County and Illinois.
Our guests included Oscar Chacon from Alianza Americas, Esteban Carbajal from North Suburban Legal Aid, and Celeste Flores from Mano a Mano Family Resource Center.

This grant has given my family and me the financial relief we needed; with this grant, my first-semester tuition has been covered. I've been given a chance to have more time to earn money for my education so my family doesn't have to stress about my future.
